ANNUAL MEET ON SCHOLARSHIP AND SAS SCHEMES
Shrimad Keshavendra Thirtha Swami Charitable Trust organizes an Annual Event on Sponsor a Student Schemes and Scholarship at SLVT, Udupi.
The annual event of Shrimad Keshavendra Thirtha Swami Charitable Trust ®, which is under the aegis of Shree Kashimath Samsthan, Varanasi was held at Shree Lakshmi Venkatesh Temple, Udupi on January 12th Sunday, 2025.
Sri CS Chethan Nayak, Founder Partner, Chethan Nayak & Associates, Mangaluru was the Chief Guest for the event. Sri Chethan Nayak shared his experience stressing the importance of hard work, honesty, sincerity in life and congratulated the meritorious students for receiving the scholarship under special scheme “SPONSOR A STUDENT’.
About 150 meritorious and deserving students got benefitted under the Sponsor A Student (SAS) scheme of the Trust. 150 Students pursuing PUC, Degree, Professional courses and Master’s degree were selected based on due diligence conducted by the Trust. Under SAS scheme, Trust provides substantial amount based on student’s merit and financial background. Under regular scheme, about 130 students studying SSLC, PUC, Degree, Professional and Master’s degree got benefitted.
Sri Ravindra Shenoy U, Assistant Professor, Dept of Commerce, MAHE, Manipal delivered a motivational lecture on Education and importance of our culture for the benefit and successful future of the SAS students. Apart from his impactful and inspiring session, Sri Ravindra Shenoy also had a meaningful interactive session with all the students and advised the students to have planning and focus on life.
President of the Trust, Sri CA Nandagopal Shenoy welcomed the Chief Guests, esteemed donors, all the meritorious students and invited guests. Sri CA P V Shenoy, Managing Trustee of Shree Lakshmi Venkatesh Temple, Udupi presided during the annual event. Secretary, Dr Girish Pai Kulyadi briefed about Keshavendra Trust & SAS Guidelines and Treasurer, Sri Dinesh Shenoy H spoke about Trust activities.
Illustrious achievers CA Naresh Kamath and CA Ananth Nayak were felicitated during the event for successfully completing their CA examinations. Trustee, Sri P Vishal Shenoy introduced the Chief Guest, Sri CS Chethan Nayak and speaker Sri Ravindra Shenoy U to the audience. Sri Srinivas Prabhu U, Joint Secretary was the master of ceremony. Vice President, Sri A Pundalik Kamath and Trustees Sri Radhakrishna Shenoy, Sri M Vishwanath Bhat, Sri Balakrishna Prabhu, Sri Atul Kudva and Sri M Shantharam Pai were present.
The annual event concluded by proposing a vote of thanks to Chief Guest, Resource Person, invited guests and acknowledging the support of Trustees of Shri Lakshmi Venkatesh Temple, esteemed donors, well-wishers, volunteers and media by Joint Secretary Sri Srinivas Prabhu U.
