H.H. Shrimad Keshavendra Thirtha Swamiji was an exponent of ‘Dwaitha’ stream of philosophy and Parama Pujya Guruvaryas mastery over the scriptures are recollected even today. H.H. Shrimad Keshavendra Thirtha Swamiji is adorned with all divinity by G.S.B community. The supreme Lord Vedavyasa chose to manifest Himself to our beloved Swamiji who was blessed with idol of Lord Vedavyasa while His Holiness was taking a holy bath in River Ganges at Pancha Ganga Ghat in Varanasi. Subsequent to this divine event, Lord Vedavyasa is worshiped at Shree Kashi Math Samsthan as one amongst the Presiding Dieties along with Lord Ramachandra and Lord Narasimha.
Shrimad Keshavendra Thirtha Swami Charitable Trust was established under the Aegis of Shree Kashi Math Samsthan, Varanasi on 26th day of June 2008. The Trust came into existence by the Divine Blessings of H.H. Shrimad Sudhindra Thirtha Swamiji, the then Mathadipathi of Shree Kashi Math Samsthan, Varanasi desiring that this Charitable Trust be consecrated in the name of Great Saint and second Mathadipathi of the Samsthan, H.H. Shrimad Keshavendra Thirtha Swamiji who attained eternal abode on 27/02/1670 at Basrur Shree Kashi Math, Udupi District in Karataka State, India. This Trust under the guidance of H.H. Shrimad Sudhindra Thirtha Swamiji has conducted various activities for the betterment of society at large until January 2016. Thereafter, the Successor and Patta shishya of, the then Mathadipathi Shrimad Sudhindra Thirtha Swamiji, H.H. Shrimad Samyamindra Thirtha Swamiji, Revered Dharmaguru of GSB community and Mathadipathi of Shree Kashi Math Samsthan, Varanasi is being the guiding light in taking the Trust to newer heights.
